my mom is taking a writing class and in this week's session she was challenged to write a
six-word memoir. her's was something like "can see both sides; indecision always wins." which is certainly true for me as well (whaddya know, i came from her!). consequently, she challenged me to think of one--no indecision allowed. after a moment's non-thought (that's when i get the best ideas) i came up with:
"what to do? internet always wins."
i've always been a fan of succinctness--titles, chapters, thoughts, etc.--so i feel like this may latch on in my mind like how i began to think in haiku when
jamie stewart was writing haikus for people who bought women as lovers.
think of anything good memoir, haiku, or otherwise, please share!
