when concerts come up quick & drives last forever & you really don't mind one bit

last night i saw m83 at the mezzanine. they play my bay-bridge crossing song of choice, which i've actually been meaning to post about for a bit now. i took photographs on a particularly epic drive earlier this month, when the clouds were big and white and sitting right on the water and the sky above was clear and blue blue blue:



and then, returning at night, the light smears:

it runs into itself and does not slow down [this is better with the sound off--at night it is windy and the song still loud]:
